The Boschetto Bulletin - Small Steps, Big Wins

Overthinking can paralyze even the best ideas.
But here’s the secret: progress is far more powerful than perfection.
I recently asked ChatGPT to share some insights about me, and it came back with something that had my wife and I in awe: “You have a mind that operates on multiple levels simultaneously — big-picture strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the tactical execution required to make things real… You’re not content with ideas alone; you need to see them manifest. And yet, you likely experience frustration because your execution speed never matches the speed of your mind’s ideation.”
If that’s not the definition of “overthinking,” I’m not sure what is!
I’ve been there — my mind races with possibilities, but it feels like the execution is always lagging (I’ve been told the clinical term for this is ADHD).
I deeply believe in everything I share with you. I’ve seen these systems, tips, and strategies work because I have used them in my career. I know from experience that the only way to overcome analysis paralysis is to keep moving forward, even when things aren't perfect.
Just take the next step.
Let’s dive into how you start making real progress in your business today.
🚀 PM Tip of the Week: Find the Right Next Step
Have you ever had a great idea but felt stuck on what to do first? It happens all the time. Sometimes we overthink, try to do too much at once, or hesitate because we’re unsure if it will work.
That’s where SBi3 comes in. Instead of spinning your wheels, break the problem down into three steps:
🔍 How to Find the Right Next Step
✅ Innovate — Are you solving the right problem? Use the 5 Whys to get to the root cause, then brainstorm solutions with Affinity Mapping.
✅ Implement — What’s the simplest way to test your idea? Start small with a Minimum Viable Experiment (MVE) and gather real feedback.
✅ Improve — What worked? What didn’t? Adjust before scaling.
✨ Example: A Café Owner Struggling with Slow Mornings
A café owner notices morning sales are lagging while lunch and afternoon traffic are strong. Customers grab coffee but skip breakfast. Instead of overhauling the entire menu, they apply SBi3 to find the next best step:
🔹 Innovate → Using the 5 Whys and customer feedback, they discover the real issue: The café is next to a gym, and morning customers want quick, high-protein, budget-friendly options.
🔹 Implement → Instead of launching a full menu overhaul, they test two high-protein breakfast bowls. They offer samples and track sales for three weeks.
🔹 Improve → Sales data shows one flavor is a hit while the other underperforms. Customers suggest small tweaks. The owner refines the recipe and prepares for a full launch.
🎯 The Takeaway

Making progress doesn’t mean having everything figured out — it just means taking the right next step.
SBi3 helps you move forward with clarity and confidence. Keep testing, adjusting, and improving — and momentum will surely follow.
💡 Idea of the Week: Progress > Perfection
Most small business owners don’t struggle because they lack ideas — they struggle because they never start.
It’s so easy to wait for the “perfect plan” before making a move, but here’s the thing — that perfect moment? It rarely comes. And in the meantime, nothing gets done.
Every successful business you see started with an imperfect first version that got better over time. They didn’t have it all figured out on day one — they just took the next step and kept going.
➡ If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to start, consider this your sign. Take one small step today. Adjust as you go. Listen to feedback. Progress happens in motion.
And when you do? I can’t wait to celebrate and revel in your wins right alongside you. 🎊
📖 What I’m Reading
I’m still reading Hidden Potential this week. Here’s a gem that stood out:
“The best way to unlock hidden potential isn’t to suffer through the daily grind. It’s to transform the daily grind into a source of daily joy.”
When we enjoy what we’re doing, we’re way more likely to stick with it, learn, and grow.
Instead of just pushing through tasks because you have to, what if you found ways to make them a little more enjoyable? Maybe it’s tweaking your approach, setting small goals, or just giving yourself a win to celebrate along the way.
Because let’s be real — work feels a lot less like a grind when it’s something you want to do, not something you have to do. And when you’re building in service of your why, the work itself becomes the reward.
P.S. Boschetto has been🔋energizing🔋me like never before. I’m more excited than ever to help business leaders turn ideas into results, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. I’ve been loving the work so much, it’s been tough to peel myself away from the laptop at night — even when I know the gym will call my name the next morning. Boschetto has brought me true joy, and I’m excited to keep building and growing with each and every one of you!! 🧱
